An introduction to AIM
A one-day course offering practical guidance for companies listed or looking to list on AIM, and their advisors

Who is this course for?: Accountants, auditors, company secretaries, in-company advisors for AIM clients, finance directors and senior staff, market advisors, lawyers and directors

Level: Intermediate  Duration: Full day  CPD: 6 hrs CPD

In the last few years AIM (the Alternative Investment Market) has come of age, and is now regarded as a significant market for a wide range of UK and overseas companies. At the same time, however, debates have also arisen about how the market is regulated – and whether the appropriate controls are in place to encourage good governance and investor confidence.

This one-day course provides a thorough overview of how AIM works, covering topics such as the admissions process, continuing obligations and reporting, plus a guide to the key players – including nominated advisors, brokers, directors and the company secretary – corporate governance issues and effective interaction with investors.
