Who is this course for?: Company directors, especially those newly appointed, company secretaries

This one day course covers the core duties and responsibilities of company directors. It puts the role in the context of the current legal and regulatory environment, including The Companies Act 2006. Areas covered include the key duties of directors, power and authority, good boardroom practice and other legal responsibilities such as health and safety and environmental protection.

Lorraine Young, FCIS, is a freelance company secretarial consultant who provides advice to a wide range of client companies on corporate governance and company secretarial best practice.
