Company law and regulation is not a static thing: it changes and evolves and influences – and is influenced by – corporate behaviours in the real world. Keeping track of those changes as they happen, and anticipating and preparing for compliance, can be a major challenge for any business.

This quarterly half-day session is aimed at equipping company secretaries and other senior and board-level advisers with the information they need – when they need it. Updated with every session, the course combines a broad-based overview of the unfolding legal, regulatory and governance environment with more in-depth coverage of some of the key changes and what they mean for business.

This course is available on an individual session basis, or on a rolling 4-sessions subscription.

Lorraine Young
Lorraine Young, FCIS, is a freelance company secretarial consultant who provides advice to a wide range of client companies on corporate governance and company secretarial best practice. She has been a company secretary for almost 20 years and has extensive in-company and advisory experience in a range of company contexts.

Julia Casson
Julia Casson is an independent consultant with over twenty years in-house experience as a company secretary in major international plcs, most recently as company secretary of Pearson plc. She advises on corporate governance best practice and company secretarial matters in a UK and international context and is EU policy advisor to the ICSA.
