Speakers Simon Osborne is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and a solicitor. He chairs ICSA’s Company Secretaries Forum and is director of its Board Performance Unit. He has worked successfully with major companies and other organisations and brings first hand knowledge and understanding of the practical and personal aspects of the operation of boards and how to identify performance improvements. He helps to run ICSA Events’ “Non-Executive Directors’ Programme” and is a member of the International Corporate Governance Network. Julia Casson provides corporate governance and compliance advice to companies, acts as company secretary and undertakes board and committee effectiveness reviews. She has over 20 years experience as a Company Secretary in international PLCs, most recently as Company Secretary of Pearson PLC. |
