Preparing for flotation
A practical half-day guide to preparing a company for flotation, the process for listing and ongoing compliance issues

Who is this course for?: Chief executives, directors, company secretaries and other board members and board advisers, finance directors and in-house lawyers

Level: Managers/Directors  Duration: Half day, am  CPD: 3.5

Deciding to go public can be one of the most challenging decisions that a board of directors may face. Getting to grips with the key elements of the listing process, from deciding upon which market to float through to complying with high standards of regulation and corporate governance post-admission, are just some of the factors that can make this a daunting responsibility.

This half-day course is specially tailored to companies considering going public and flotation. Delegates are guided through the flotation process, and through such key considerations as the regulations governing the main UK equity markets, the advantages and disadvantages of listing, the ongoing compliance and reporting obligations placed upon quoted companies, and handling a wider shareholder base.
